Through facebook, I found my long lost friend and my best friend since childhood. It is true and we communicate regularly since then. It was our dream to be a nurse someday but due to financial problem, I pursue another course. We were separated during our college years, I studied locally and while she moved and continue her studies to another country because her parents.

I have learned that she is already married with two kids and a successful nurse. I congratulate her for believing in her dreams. As her birthday is approaching, I plan to give her a birthday present. Recently, we had our council encampment at camp marina. This is one of the GSP highlights before the school year end. This kind of event participated by different districts, schools and universities. It is a four-day event and we had lot of activities and challenges to enjoy.

We had adventure games, trek, swimming, and tour. Most of the activities are in parallel and simultaneous schedule. One of the activities that was memorable to us, when we had our city tour for a whole day. We have to be early before the service bus arrives. While waiting for the bus we stay in line with the help of barricades and velvet rope provided by the bus company.

Hence then, we are too many and crowded there are lot of stanchions installed to avoid commotions. It was a great help to the activity that crowd control equipments was provided by the company to minimized chaos, disorder and turmoil.

Last week, I was invited by my friend’s house to celebrate house warming with them. I am excited hearing that they bought a two story and fully furnish house at Mactan. Wow, it is amazing when I look at their house. I am mesmerized with ambiance and facade of the house very well designed.

Therefore, I am in hurry of looking what is inside the house. Perfect! I saw the very attractive and elegant oak ridge furniture that perfectly matches to the interior design of the house. On that top of console table, I have noticed their family photographs in 1 5x7 3 4x6 collage frame and it was more personalized with the logo of fatal script sticker very creative. I am thinking it is nice to save and treasure memories that last...in photographs.

While chatting and talking to each other. My attention was captured of these beautiful plate candle warmer with scented candles on their dining table. My eyes are so full in beautiful things of this house. Indeed, my friend got a good deal and investment. This experience gives me an idea on how to beautify my own house with less expense.

It is my responsibility and right to cast out my votes as a citizen. For which I believe a vote counts. This morning I was so excited and I wake up early. After taking a bath and breakfast, I rush directly to the Polling Center. I was amazed, there are many people which I did not used to see on an ordinary days. Therefore, I join the line to verify and claim my precinct number. I thought this election is a fast and better election system in the country. Because of so-called” automation”, the new facility and technology we adopt.

Honestly, this was a very tiring, chaos and time-consuming election system in the part of voters. As what I observed and experienced. I got my priority number for almost an hour and keep on waiting for another 6 hours. Wow! Very slow and dragging, the system is very poor. I pity on those senior citizen, they are not entertained and severed properly. I had seen some people shouting, pushing and begging like a hungry or even like on the cock-fighting scene. I am disappointed but I do not have choice but to wait. In order to survive there is a need to be more patience or else go home, quit and be a loser in life Principle.

Thanks God! Finally, I gave my turn after 7 hours of waiting. Now, I am hoping for the next election. There will be improvements and to have organize system. Frankly, it is not about the machine however, it is the environmental ecology. People around both VI’s and voters itself. Anyway, we want change and all were trying to give their best.
Congrats, we have done our part!
