What is scouting?

A worldwide informal education movement provides girls and young woman aged 4-21 years old, opportunities of character training, responsible citizenship conduct and attainment and service to the community.

When you join a Girl Scout Troop, you will not be a member of a crowd, but one of a worldwide sisterhood of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. You band together in a small group of 6 to 8 girls called Patrol. You will be working with a Patrol Leader of your own choice and a patrol second to help her.
