CAMPFIRE CEREMONY

Time Limit: 45 Minutes to 1 hour
Formation: Circle
Parts:

1. Lighting of the fire
2. Declaration of the campfie open
3. Round Songs
4. Action Songs
5. Sub-camp presentation (with the time limit 3 to 5 minutes)
6. Something new (song or game)
7. Campfire Chat
8. Quieting Song
9. Prayer
10. Taps
11. Lullaby

Reminders:

• No Singing of campfire songs unless the fire starts burning;
• No one should leave after its presentation;
• There should be complete attendance by all campers until TAPS.

SCOUTS OWN CEREMONY

Time Limit: 45 Minutes to 1 hour

Formation: Circle
Gate of Silence: Two (2) girls standing at the entrance of the venue
Theme: Love, Friendship, Peace, Nature
Parts:

1. Opening Prayer/Song
2. Patrol/Sub-camp presentation

• Song
• Choral Recitation
• Song Interpretation
• Choral Reading
• Song etc...

   3.  Closing Pryer/Song

Reminders:

• Patrol/sub-camps arranged in one line formation according to presentation;
• Complete silence should be observed upon entering the gate of silence;
• There should be no clapping of hands after each presentation.
