Halloween Party

Halloween
It’s Halloween Party! Five more days to go...
I snapped this picture while I was in the Mall.

My two questions:

1. Do you join Halloween Costume Party?

2. If not, why not? If so, what costume or character will you wear for Halloween?

My answers:

1. Not yet, in my childhood years I missed this kind of event.

2. The scariest witch of course. However, the Sexiest Witch in our modern time.

I Left My Wife With Forty Four Children

Hiking Chant:

I left my wife with forty four children,
In the great old mam,
In the peanut stand
And I go right, right, right

From the country where
I came from,
High foot, Low foot,
Skip to the jungle, left, left...

Investiture Ceremony Experiences Entry #1

Smile... says gahhh.....  A pose with parents..                                At the center Tita Abcill and Tita Rose Jane

Wow! What a wonderful experience! It was very fun during our Investiture. I can now really feel the essence of being a senior girl scout. It was very fun having another unforgettable experience with friends and fellow Girl Scouts. We almost forget our lines because of the excitement of being invested, and the new activities and projects that we will face as senior and cadet scouts.

All the parts of the program from the welcome address to the last part was interesting, we can really learn and discover new things. I knew all the ates’ are nervous in reciting the candidates for membership, but they did it! They made in the sake of scouting. Also for the other girls who gave their effort in the investiture.

All the girls took part in making the investiture possible. Without the hands working together, we can make all things possible. We are also making our heartfelt gratitude to our Tita Abcill, Tita Rose Jane and especially to our parents who really took part in the ceremony. To all the teachers and ates, thank you. I hope to enjoy more activities in being a SENIOR SCOUT.

Investiture Ceremony Experiences Entry #2

For how many years that I have been joining the "Organization of Girl Scouting", the first thing I had surpassed was the "Investiture" one. I was invested as a "Star Scouts", as a "Junior Scouts", and just yesterday, I was invested as a "Senior Girl Scouts".

I consider "Investing" as one of the "sacraments" of the Girls Scouts just like one of the sacraments of God, which is the "Evangelizing" one. As what Tita Abcill said that this "Investiture Ceremony" is just like baptizing you as a true member of the Organization of Girl Scouts. That is why our parents should be there, in the ceremony, to witness the success of their daughters as true member of a Girl Scouts Organization, which they should be proud of.

Yesterday, when we had our Investiture Ceremony, even though some parts of the program were not organized well, we continue the program despite of some selected Girl Scouts who were not prepared and some were nervous to say their respective lines in the program.

Investiture Ceremony Experiences Entry #3

In my seven years in scouting, I already had lot of experiences and I already attended lot of investiture ceremonies. However, in this year, I can say that it is more enjoyable and I had more experiences this year than the passing years that I have joined scouting.

I really enjoyed our investiture ceremony. Although during the ceremony there are lot of mistakes, I still enjoyed. After the ceremony, we ate our snacks and then we had a picture taking with my fellow scouters and titas. We had a picture taking with our respected parents. Although this investiture ceremony is not as perfect as the investiture ceremonies during my elementary, I can say that it is the most enjoyable one.
